The HR Summit is returning to Perth this June with a stellar line-up
The HR Summit is returning to Perth this June as part of the 2018 National HR Summit series, bringing with it the best topics from the flagship event held in Sydney earlier this year.
One of the highlights of the event will be panel discussing the future of HR, said event organiser Emma Marrett.
The panel will feature Perth's leading voices in the HR profession, including Sally Bradbrook who heads up HR for Horizon Power and Holly Barnes who leads the HR team at Moodle.
"As businesses have been transforming and becoming more complex, the HR profession has been changing and up-skilling to help workforces deal with these changes" Marrett said.
"The panel will discuss the big questions, such as what is the future role of people skills in an increasingly automated workforce? Is traditional, transactional HR dead? What will HR’s role be in attracting, engaging, retaining and developing employees?" said Marrett.
Over two days, delegates will hear from HR leaders from a variety of business sectors and industries, including hospitality, aged care, and infrastructure.
