Revealed: Winners of the Australian HR Awards for 2024

Janani D’Silva of Capgemini has been named HR Manager of the Year at the Australian HR Awards 2024, while Shinara Armitage of Fluent Commerce has taken the title of HR Rising Star of the Year.

Kris Webb of Coles Group won the Martian Logic Australian HR Director of the Year award.

The Australian HR Awards marked their 11th year in 2024, once again celebrating excellence in the HR profession. Organisations from around Australia attended the awards evening at the Fullerton Hotel in Sydney on Friday 13 September.

The gala event was filled with champagne and celebration as professionals from across the HR industry gathered to honor outstanding achievements and innovation among their peers. This year, the awards featured 20 categories and were hosted by renowned TV personality and radio host Merrick Watts.

Other categories for excellence included Employer of Choice, Best Graduate Development Program, Best Workplace Flexibility and Best remote Work Strategy, among many others.

Professionals who received honours at the black-tie dinner included the team from Cornerstone Medical Recruitment in the category of Australian HR Team of the Year for up to 1,000 employees, and the HR crew from the Australian Financial Complaints Authority, in the field of 1,000 staff.

The City of Parramatta, in Sydney, took the gong for Best Health and Wellbeing Program, a category sponsored by hubPass.

Referoo, also a sponsor partner, supported the Best Recruitment Campaign, which was awarded to Hilton.
