HRD's search for the next generation of HR professionals will conclude at 5pm today
Nominations for the 2018 Rising Stars report end today. HRD readers who have yet to submit their nominations must do so before entries close at 5pm.
The young professionals named in the report enjoy a rare opportunity to be profiled across an industry-recognised platform, giving their careers a real boost. They will also receive exclusive marketing collateral to showcase the accolade to peers and clients. Don’t let the Rising Star on your team miss out on this chance.
"Having my name listed was one of the professional achievements of my year,” said 2017 Rising Star, Lindsay Kilgour (Human Resources & WHS Advisor of Children's Cancer Institute). “I was very proud to be named alongside such impressive peers from around Australia. It was also great getting to know others that had been named and learning what they had achieved.”
Rising Star Jody Wong of Excite Holidays didn’t even know she was being nominated. “My manager and my team had written up my nomination without my knowledge, and when it came time to submit the nomination, they dropped the bombshell on me. I was very flattered that they had believed me and my work worthy of such recognition.”
To be eligible for a place on the report, nominees must have worked in HR for less than 10 years and never previously been named an HRD Rising Star. They must also have experience executing progressive HR initiatives and be able to demonstrate career progression.
To nominate a colleague—or yourself—simply submit your nomination online by provide a 500-word summary of why the nominee deserves to be named on the report before entries close today.
The Rising Stars report will be published in HRD magazine and online later this year.
