An appearance on TV show Undercover Boss has seen Domino’s Pizza record a large increase in job applications.

CEO of the pizza delivery company, Don Meij, went ‘undercover’ on the show, working in pizza shops and delivering pizzas.

The company has received more than 3,500 applications in the two weeks since the show aired.

Meij said: “Our recent Undercover Boss episode showcased to the nation Domino’s fun loving culture and the excitement and fast pace a job as a Pizza Maker or Delivery Driver offers. Since the show aired we have been inundated with job applications by people wanting to work at Domino’s.”

“Young Australians are the cornerstone of our business and we are always on the hunt for vibrant and hardworking people to join the Domino’s team but in recent years we have struggled to employ enough staff in our stores to meet our growing demand.

“I’m thrilled Australians have had such a positive reaction to the Domino’s Undercover Boss episode. We aim to be an employer of choice and Undercover Boss has helped us to show the nation what our brand is about.
