He will be replacing former CEO Saunders, who will be joining Cornerstone founder Adam Miller as senior advisor to the company. Saunders said that it’s been an honour and a privilege to lead Cornerstone, a global cloud-based people development software provider and learning technology provider headquartered in San Francisco, for over two years, adding that he is "confident" that the company is in great hands with Palsule.
"I'm proud of the foundation that we have built upon within the talent management market through expanded scale, product innovation, and an unrelenting focus towards customer success, and am looking forward to Himanshu and the rest of the Cornerstone team continue its growth trajectory," he said.
Palsule's appointment as CEO comes as Clearlake Capital Group completes its acquisition of Cornerstone. Behdad Eghbali, co-founder and managing partner, and Prashant Mehrotra, partner, at Clearlake, said in a joint statement that they are excited to welcome Palsule to the Cornerstone executive team.
"Himanshu’s perspective, combined with his operating experience, aligns well with Clearlake's investment thesis in Cornerstone and makes him a coveted choice to lead the company in its next stage of growth," they said.
