HR experts gather to tackle the big sector issues
Dozens of HR thought-leaders are lined up to give their expert insights at upcoming National HR Summit – a two-day extravaganza of presentations, panels and workshops split across three in-depth conference streams.
The main conference is aimed at the whole HR team, with an array of topics at the top of the people management agenda. The Directors Forum is designed exclusively for HR Directors and senior decision makers with valuable insights from CHROs and C-suite executives on business strategy and HR leadership. Finally, the Public Sector Forum is specifically designed for public sector HR professionals with insights that focus on key issues facing those managing HR in government organisations.
Among the agenda will be a powerhouse session ‘The Chief People Officer’s role in leadership accountability’ featuring Susan Karson, Chief People Marketing & Corporate Affairs Officer at MLC Insurance and Jane Kelly, Chief Human Resources Officer at Super Retail Group. It will examine the HR leader’s increasing role in keeping the executive team accountable for their behavior, including: cultivating an open, transparent, and informal communication style, balancing the role of enabler with keeping leaders accountable to corporate and societal values and helping leaders manage to their values.
