The time has come to finally reveal this year's HRD Global 100.
These HR professionals have come a long way since the outbreak of the pandemic and the massive workplace changes that took place just after. This year’s awardees were able to successfully navigate their way amid uncertain times, steer the C-suite through intense anxieties, and quite literally saved the day for many organizations and employees alike.
And boy, what a year it was. Employee retention and talent attraction continue to be the main challenges in a global HR market, with O.C. Tanner’s 2022 Global Culture Report highlighting the dual role that meaning and leadership play in fostering retention and employee loyalty – something our winners this year understood all too well.
Our 2022 awardees come from six markets - Australia, Asia Pacific, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and the United States – each deserving to be recognised for their outstanding contributions to employee wellbeing, tech innovation, and cultural commitment throughout the pandemic and beyond.
Among this year’s winners is Rhonda Hall from the University Federal Credit Union. Described as an "extraordinary" HR executive, Hall is known for her humility, intentionality, and innovativeness. Gena Restivo from AstraZeneca Canada also made this year's list, telling HRD that she believes HR leaders need to "lead from the front, not from the back."
