It aims to help TikTok users find their own dream jobs
Employment website Indeed has launched its own TikTok account in a bid to connect the platform's young audience to employers.
"Indeed's new TikTok channel is aimed at helping to bridge the gap between Gen Z and PMET employers and help everyone find common ground where businesses and employees can thrive together," said Nishita Lalvani, Marketing Director, Indeed India and SEA, in a statement.
In addition, Indeed said in its announcement that it also wants to give TikTok users insights on the world of work, as well as help them find their dream jobs.
The new account, under the username @indeed_sg, was established on TikTok in order to attract members of the millennial and Gen Z audience present there, which the platform said will make up a "large part of the workforce soon."
"We want to support the aspirations of Gen Z and Millennials who will make up a large part of the workforce soon," said Lalvani.
"They are set to have a 50–60 year career ahead of them, and we foresee the need to help this group of workers navigate the jobs sector whilst staying true to their beliefs."

"We're here to explore what you really need from your employers and how you can get it. We've worked with some of your favourite creators and have some brilliant-themed episodes lined up for you," said the content creator on the first video uploaded in the account.
Other content creators involved in the launch campaign include @Ianjeevan and @Ainlovescode, according to Indeed.
