It comes as more companies start leaning into their DEI strategies
Ever wondered how your company's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) approach is faring? A new quiz developed by Kanarys can sure provide insights for employers on their DEI journey.
The DEI Maturity Quiz, built by Kanarys' experts, identifies where organisations are when it comes to their DEI journey, and helping them further their strategies in the long run.
It analyses and assesses the best practices for critical DEI components, including talent acquisition, retention and succession planning, DEI Councils, and Employee Resource Groups. It also focuses on unconscious bias training, paid apprenticeship programmes, supplier diversity programmes, among others.
Once accomplished, Kanarys offers quiz takers a comprehensive library of guidebooks and toolkits for free, where they can learn strategies that can help their organisations.
Mandy Price, co-founder and CEO of Kanarys, said the DEI Maturity Quiz will help "bring about lasting organisational change and ultimately improve the workplace for millions of Americans."
"Companies are finding that DEI and true belonging are really at the heart of an organisation's success, and those that focus on DEI in a meaningful way are more likely to retain their employees, foster innovation, outperform their competitors, and so much more," said Price in a statement.
"In order to leverage DEI for business growth and employee retention, companies must first understand and measure their DEI progress, uncover potential stumbling blocks, and identify areas for improvement."

The DEI Maturity Quiz is available on HubSpot, which benefits about 135,000 customers of the customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
The offering follows HubSpot's recent investment in the Kanarys platform, with their collaboration expected to help the CRM platform's customers in improving DEI in their workplaces.
"We know that investing in DEI is critical to growing companies, which is why we're excited to build on our investment in Kanarys to help our customers solve DEI challenges and leverage DEI for business success," said Andrew Lindsay, SVP of corporate & business development at HubSpot, in a statement.
The quiz came as more organisations start leaning into their DEI to retain top talent and improve workplace culture. A recent study from Gartner revealed that companies that do not enhance their diversity suffer a huge cost, with American companies lagging in diversity reporting an economic loss of almost $70 trillion.
