Alexandra Hall has been recognized as one of the top professionals of the HR industry in Canada by being listed in the 2018 edition of HRDC’s Rising Stars report
Since joining You.i TV, Alexandra Hall has been involved in a number of benefit and wellbeing initiatives. Within the past year, Hall was involved in the implementation of a new Paid Time Off policy, which allows every employee to have six weeks of paid time off for each year. She also helped address the issues of administrative inefficiencies resulting from different types of time off and the potential liability from vacation carryovers through effective employee communications, policy creation and change management measures.
To drive home the need for wellbeing, Hall organized an employee wellness fair, and arranged for vendors from around the community and of different ‘pillars’ of wellness – from chiropractors and physiotherapists to nutritionists and personal trainers through to financial advisors – to visit the office and consult with the employees. She also organized workshops on reducing stress in the workplace, and helped secure employee discounts with CAA, home and auto insurance, and discounted gym membership. In addition, Hall took over the health and safety committee, revamped the emergency evacuation plan, and worked to ensure that the company was in compliance with legal requirements.
