This year, the Canadian HR Awards went virtual for the very first time. And although it may have been a somewhat different experience than the glitz and glamour of our usual in-person soirée, it was no less fun, and for the winners and finalists, the recognition meant just as much.
In fact, going virtual actually allowed us to offer our audience even more in terms of stellar content and live debate. From panel discussions with globally recognized leaders, peer-to-peer networking and witty, insightful acceptance speeches, Canadian HR Awards 2020 was a roaring success. Hosting more than 1,000 virtual attendees from all over the world, this year’s celebrations proved the overwhelming importance and need for reward and recognition — especially in these trying times. And isn’t this the very essence of HR? After all, if this pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that the HR profession really rallies together to help weather disruption. The 2020 commemorative guide is a who’s who of HR in Canada — celebrating teams, organizations and, of course, those incredibly special individuals who have helped us all survive and thrive in the past year.
HRD would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our esteemed sponsors, congratulate all of this year’s lucky winners and thank each and every person who helped make the Canadian HR Awards 2020 such a triumph
