Pearson worker disciplined over porn at work

For those who want to access porn at work – you might want to consider whether there are windows behind your desk.

A Pearson airport employee has been disciplined after being caught looking at pornography whilst at work last week.

The incident was reported to the airport’s operations centre on the weekend, said Greater Toronto Airports Authority spokesman Scott Armstrong.

In a video taken by a visitor to Canada’s busiest airport, a male worker can be seen at a cluttered desk, allegedly viewing pornography on a laptop at an unnamed location in Terminal 3.

The offending images have been blurred out in broadcasts of the video.

“We find it absolutely unacceptable behaviour for any airport employee. The individual in question has been identified and disciplined appropriately,” Armstrong said.

Armstrong would not name the disciplined employee nor say if Pearson has any restrictions in place to limit employees’ internet access.
