Who will shine as Canada’s top HR practitioners at the 2014 HR Awards?
HR professionals are often behind the scenes, working to ensure an organization runs smoothly and efficiently, but it’s time to shine a spotlight on those high achievers themselves.
The Canadian HR Awards will bring together industry leaders to celebrate excellence in the HR profession, recognizing individuals, teams and companies for their outstanding achievements in people management.
“The awards, powered by HRM Online, are an opportunity for human resources leaders to get the recognition they deserve,” said KMI Publishing and Events President and CEO Tim Duce. “It’s our honour to host that celebration of excellence.”
KMI Publishing and Events – the people behind Canada’s HRM Online and HRD magazine – brings an HR-centric awards gala to the market, having already played host to a national award show in Australia for 12 years.
With 17 organizational and individual categories, the awards have been designed to ensure national recognition for individual HR professionals but also the broader human resources teams at both large and small organizations. Industry consultants will also be recognized.
Nominations are now open and will close August 22. It then falls to a judging panel of industry experts to assess finalists and make final decisions based on supporting collateral information.
The Canadian HR Awards 2014 will be presented at a black-tie event on Friday, November 7 at the Liberty Grand in Toronto.
The hope is industry players will consider their most deserving colleagues both in and outside their organizations.
