A variety of roles are available from entry level to senior management
The Auckland Airport will be hosting a one-day job fair on July 30 for those looking for a career related to the travel industry. The event will see the participation of around 30 of the airport's largest employers, according to the announcement from the management, with the confirmed attendees to include:
Carrie Hurihanganui, chief executive of Auckland Airport, said that the participating organisations will be offering roles from entry to senior level.
"Every organisation operating in and around the terminal is looking to fill vacancies – from entry-level roles through to senior staff," said Hurihanganui in a statement.
Roles available include cabin crew, airline check-in, baggage handling, security, airport operations and emergency services, qualified trades, infrastructure roles, retail assistants, hotel staff, chef, baristas, and cleaners.

"These are really important roles that contribute directly to keeping New Zealand's aviation system running smoothly, helping travellers, and getting people and freight to where they need to be," said the chief executive.
Hurihanganui explained that the job fair comes as more of their partners are in search of new additions to their workforce.
"We wanted to make it as easy as possible for job seekers to see the huge variety of airport jobs, talk directly to employers, ask questions of the people they could be working alongside, and see how they could have a long-term career at the airport," said the executive.
The Auckland Airport Job Fair will have three sessions, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
"For anyone who loves travel, loves aviation, loves the excitement of airports, now is a fantastic time to join the teams operating at Auckland Airport," said Hurihanganui.
