Despite persisting concerns about artificial intelligence across the world, the chief executive officer of an award-winning recruitment firm is highlighting the technology's potential when utilised correctly.
Jenny Lloyd, co-founder and director of connections at Lloyd Connect, said AI can be a "game changer in a positive way if used properly."
"But if you don't implement it correctly, it could damage your business and brand. It's important to ensure it's used as the right piece of the puzzle," she told HRD.
Lloyd Connect is the bronze medal winner for recruitment firms in HRD's Best HR Software Vendors in Australia and New Zealand.
The strategic use of AI is one of Lloyd's secrets behind its reputation as a top recruiter in Australia, where it uses the technology to automate and streamline processes.
The organisation also embraces change and innovation, with Lloyd saying that it is "not afraid to change things."

Lloyd Connect is recognised as an "early adopter of various emerging technologies. Among the technologies that the recruitment firm uses in its applicant tracking system are:
According to Lloyd, they are also in the early stages of scoping and developing an app with Seding Technologies to support the requirements and compliance needs of the education sector.
Meanwhile, another secret behind Lloyd Connect's success is its client-centric approach, where it has a dedicated consultant who becomes a trusted advisor for an organisation.
"You have one consultant who recruits for the business, which means we understand their culture and what works within their team," Lloyd said. "We've filled over 80 positions for one client across IT, sales, marketing, HR, and more, and we've been working with them since 2018."
