As a diverse organisation, National Mini Storage listens to the ideas of all team members. It recently launched a project group working specifically on ways for employees to hold courageous conversations about sensitive topics, and is developing pathways of support for all staff members no matter their concerns. Moving ahead in its digital transformation journey, the company spent a year automating a number of its systems – from employee rostering to payroll – even before the COVID-19 lockdown took place. The company equipped staff with the right tools and resources in preparation for situations in which the business would have to be operated remotely.
