HRD recognises 25 firms for their excellence in talent acquisition
HRD New Zealand has unveiled the top 25 recruitment firms which earned 5-star ratings from the country’s HR leaders and hiring decision-makers. The list recognises recruiters who are raising the standards of talent acquisition and defying the challenges of a global pandemic.
New Zealand draws from a diverse pool of local and international talent. Despite restrictions in talent mobility because of the COVID-19 crisis, these awardees are developing new strategies to connect employers with the right talent. Many have also been active in supporting industries that are booming amid crisis.
“Empathy through the recruitment process is hugely important, and especially so in the current environment,” said Katerina Makarios of H2R Consulting, one of the year’s honourees.
The 5-star rating is given to firms for consistently delivering across several areas for employers. This includes an outstanding combination of good customer service, ability to source the best candidates, being value for money, offering speed of placement and strong retention rates.
