New Zealand’s largest locally-owned life insurer has confirmed its latest head of people and culture
A major insurance company has confirmed the appointment of a new senior HR figure with an industry veteran set to take over the coveted spot.
Fidelity Life – New Zealand’s largest locally-owned life insurer – announced today that Tanya Hadfield would be joining the company following three years at competitor Partners Life.
“We are delighted to welcome Tanya to our team,” said Nadine Tereora, CEO at Fidelity Life. “Tanya is a highly talented executive with more than 20 years’ experience in New Zealand’s insurance industry.”
As well as her recent stint at Fidelity Life, Hadfield has previously worked in senior HR roles for IAG New Zealand, Royal Sun Alliance, ACE Insurance and Sovereign Insurance.
“As a key member of our executive leadership team, Tanya will help us build on our already strong culture and support our focus on high performance and engagement,” said Tereora.
“People are at the core of everything we do and getting the right people for the job, who are highly engaged, will allow us to deliver great service to our advisers, partners and customers.”
Hadfield has also been a member of the Insurance Council of New Zealand’s Employment and Education committee, a member of the Australia, New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance Advisory Board and she is an ICC Accredited Business Coach.
“Tanya’s skills and expertise will allow us to attract, develop and retain exceptional talent, and build on our diversity and inclusion programs,” said Tereora.
