Culture Amp webinar looks at how to leverage feedback from People Effectiveness surveys, the science behind effectiveness
Organisations need to develop their people to maintain high levels of engagement and remain competitive. Yet many organisations still tackle this problem without the data they need to draw the right insights and make the right decisions.
Culture Amp's Employee Effectiveness bridges this gap - it helps organisations to grow and develop their people, leaders and teams, as well as empowers individuals to take action on their own development.
And that’s essential given that “Doing more with less” is one of the main challenges facing the HR industry this year, according to Gavin Morse, Senior People Scientist at Culture Amp, “as we see a pullback in resourcing, investment in additional initiatives, and talent shortages making it difficult to replace key talent in the APAC region.”
Retaining key talent will also be top of the list for those in HR, says Morse, citing internal research at Culture Amp (2022) from over 100,000 employees. “Career opportunities” was the most cited reason for leaving an organization — above compensation, work/life balance and manager-related reasons combined.
“Therefore, making sure organizations are investing in the right development initiatives to enhance perceptions of career opportunities will be critical for success,” Morse says.
So, how do you know that you are investing in the right development initiatives? Organizations should be leaning into effectiveness surveys (360s or 180s), he says.
“Not only will this help provide feedback to enhance individual effectiveness and leadership effectiveness, it will help HR identify the core capability gaps and create action plans to ensure they are offering the right development programs and that those programs are effective.”
