He urged his staff to become 'ambassadors' for the company
Good brands employ good people who work and grow with them, according to the chief executive officer of LG Electronics. At an online event, the executive highlighted his employees’ intrinsic role in the company, adding that each of them are an essential asset.
"We must recognize that 'people' and the 'brand' are the most important assets we have for the future of the company," said CEO William Cho. "With consumers' needs becoming diverse, LG needs to revamp the presence of its brand so that the brand will excite and inspire customers around the world.

"Good brands have something in common,” he said. “They are full of good people who work and grow together to become a sum that's greater than its individual parts. It is you, as LG employees, who create the LG brand and the value for our consumers all around the world."
Cho asked his employees to help the company by becoming "ambassadors" in order to further its brand and employee experience.
"The brand of LG Electronics is built by gathering stories of our staff working closely with our customers. I ask our staff to become ambassadors of the LG brand to create customer value in their current positions," he said, according to a report by The Korea Times.
Cho's remarks came as he hosted the company's "CEO F.U.N. Talk," which stands for "first, unique, and new." The chief executive spoke with 7,000 employees during the live online event about LG Electronics' present and future direction.

This is the fourth time that Cho met his employees since he was named CEO last year. According to LG's press statement, Cho made it his priority to "foster internal communications and [create] a better company culture."
Part of Cho's efforts in establishing connections with the company was a casual forum called "REINVENT Day" held in May, where the CEO urged his employees to make positive changes to help the company.
