Malaysian entrepreneur treats staff to five-day holiday

Malaysian entrepreneur Khairul Amin Kamarulzaman recently garnered praise on social media after he treated his 100 employees to an all-expenses-paid, five-day holiday.

The business tycoon, also known as Khairul Aming, treated his employees to a vacation at a five-star seaside resort in Penang—a trip that he documented and posted on social media.

Despite being mandatory, Khairul said in the video that the trip prohibited work-related discussions, AsiaOne reported. It also included various activities, such as beach volleyball, watersports, and a visit to a waterpark.

"Everyone is supposed to have fun and relax. Some of them spent their time watching the sunset, while some had fun in the swimming pool," Khairul said in the video as quoted by AsiaOne.

The entrepreneur was also seen handing out money to employees that could be used for shopping.

"The most important thing is that all the staff get to rest and vacation happily," he wrote in the video's caption.

According to AsiaOne's report, Khairul Amin closed both his factories in Kelantan for the five-day trip.

This is not the first time this year that the entrepreneur shut down his factories to treat his staff.

In April, Khairul also treated his employees to Hari Raya shopping, a buka puasa (breakfast) meal and duit raya (raya money).

Khairul is a well-known food entrepreneur and influencer known for his Sambal Nyet and Dendeng Nyet Berapi.
