Also in 2017, Jason Ho was instrumental in the launch of the bank’s new-look banking internship program, the OCBC FRANKpreneurship. The program not only introduces students to the world of banking but also features the deliberate inculcating of entrepreneurship skills and knowledge. It is the first bank-wide penultimate-year internship program to bring together the expertise of bank specialists, external technology leaders Google and Adobe, and university subject-matter experts all at once. It attracted more than 500 applications, from which 26 penultimate-year undergraduates from NUS, NTU, SMU and SUSS (formerly UniSIM) were selected in a rigorous one-day selection process called Ideation Day.
